Although bean sprouts are commonly used in Asian cuisine, you don’t find them too often in western dishes. So we thought it’d be cool to share this simple yet delicious Bean Sprouts Stir Fry Moyashi Salad recipe on LCA!
If you’ve never had bean sprouts before, they’re crunchy with a neutral taste so they mainly rely on the seasoning for the flavors.
And for this recipe, we paired it with a traditional sesame garlic seasoning that carries the flavors out very well. It’s bold enough to show up, but not so overpowering that it’ll throw the balance of the bean sprouts off!
It’s really easy to make as well! We start with simply washing the bean sprouts and then cooking it in some Sesame Oil with grated garlic, salt, and black pepper. That’s it!
All that results in a dish that’s refreshingly crunchy, a good source of protein!
When it comes to serving, you can enjoy this dish hot or cold, so heat it up during the winter and cool it down for the summer! A perfect year around vegetable recipe and we hope you enjoy it!
For this dish, the only special ingredients you would need are Sesame Oil and Toasted Sesame Seed, which can be picked up on Amazon or a local supermarket.
