How to make Asian Pizza Chaffles?


  1. Start by making the base chaffle crust. Add Mozzarella cheese, then beaten eggs, and more Mozzarella cheese into a mini waffle iron and cook for 3-4 minutes until crispy.
  2. Next, spread the pizza sauce mixture of choice on top of the chaffle, topped with Mozzarella cheese, asparagus, sausage, and mayo, place on a baking sheet and bake at 500F until cheese is melted. Top with optional shredded dried seaweed.

  • 2 tbsp Pizza Sauce of Choice
  • 2 tbsp Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 tbsp Kewpie Mayo you can sub with American mayo but will alter taste
  • 1 Whole Japanese Sausage
  • 1 Stalk Asparagus
  • 1 tsp Shredded Dried Seaweed


  • Gather all the ingredients.
  • Preheat oven to 500F (not needed if you have a toaster oven).
  • Plug in Dash Mini Waffle Maker to pre-heat.
  • In a small mixing bowl, beat egg.
  • Place about 1/8 cup of Shredded Mozzarella Cheese into the Dash Mini Waffle Maker, followed by half the beaten eggs and another 1/8 cup of Shredded Mozzarella Cheese on top. Close the lid, cook for 3 minutes, and repeat for how many other chaffles you are making.
  • In the meantime, prepare toppings by cutting Japanese sausage and asparagus into 1/4 inch slices.
  • Once 3 minutes have passed, transfer the chaffles onto a holding plate. Spread pizza sauce followed by a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese, Japanese sausage, asparagus, and a squeeze of Kewpie Mayo. Place in oven and bake at 500F for 3-5 minutes until cheese is melted. Remove from oven, sprinkle on shredded Dried Seaweed, and transfer to a serving plate.
