It’s a cauliflower fried rice based dish that’s mixed with pan-seared salmon and a garlic, cilantro, jalapeño, and lime seasoning.
What kind of food processor should I use to make the sauce for salmon cauliflower fried rice?
Any food processor should work but the one we used for this recipe is a 24-ounce capacity.
What’s cauliflower rice and where can I get it?
Cauliflower rice is just cauliflower that has been chopped for blended in a food processor into grain size rice pieces. You can get it fresh or frozen at local supermarkets. It’s a great alternative to regular white rice.
What kind of salmon do you recommend using for this fried rice recipe?

Ingredients
Salmon
- 8 oz Boneless and Skinless Salmon Fillet
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1/8 tsp Salt
- 1/8 tsp Pepper
Sauce
- 1 Cup Cilantro
- 1/4 Whole Jalapeno
- 2 tsp Lime Juice
- 2 Garlic Cloves
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/8 tsp Black Pepper
Fried Rice
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 Cups Cauliflower Rice
Directions
1) Gather all the ingredients.
2) Pat dry salmon fillet and sprinkle salt and black pepper on both sides.
3) Inside a food processor, add cilantro, jalapeno, lime juice, garlic cloves, salt and black pepper and pulse until well combined.
4) In a Teflon frying pan, add 1 tbsp of olive oil on medium heat. Once the oil is up to temp (slightly smoking), add salmon fillet and cook for 2-3 minutes while using a spatula to break apart the salmon into smaller bites as shown below. Once done, transfer to holding bowl.
5) In a large Teflon fry pan, add 1 tbsp of olive oil and bring up to heat on medium. Once the oil starts to lightly smoke, add in cauliflower rice and cook for 2-3 minutes or until preferred tenderness is attained.
6) Add in the green sauce from step 3) and along with the salmon from step 4). Stir and cook for 45-60 seconds and then transfer to a serving bowl. Enjoy hot!
