Cream Cheese Foam Strawberry Smoothie is a perfect combination of sweet, creamy, and fruity all together in a wonderful drink!

This recipe was inspired by my love for that cream cheese foam green tea drink you can find at many boba shops so naturally, my next step was to make a cream cheese smoothie.

A strawberry flavored cheese smoothie, that’s rich and creamy enough to satisfy any sweet tooth and wholesome enough to give to your kids.

What is a Cream Cheese Smoothie with Strawberry Smoothie base?

Strawberries are blended with choice of milk, vanilla extract, sweetener, and ice. Then it’s topped with a cream cheese foam.

Similar to a strawberries and cream smoothie but tastes like a strawberry cheesecake smoothie.

If you like smoothies with whipping cream, this cream cheese smoothie is one to try!

Tip – add tapioca balls to make it a cream cheese strawberry boba drink.

To make a smoothie thick and creamy, use frozen fruit. This will keep the smoothie from getting watered down by using too much ice.

Another tip is to use milk, half and half or even a splash of heavy cream to get that thick, rich and creamy flavor.

To get the most protein into a smoothie, use a high protein milk alternative such as almond milk. Choose the liquid or milk that fits your dietary needs.

What ingredients do I need and how do you make a cream cheese foam strawberry smoothie?

  • Almond Milk – or milk of choice.
  • Frozen Strawberry – frozen is best to ensure a thick and creamy smoothie.
  • Sweetener – use your preferred sweetener.
  • Vanilla Extract – gives the smoothie that extra depth of flavor.
  • Cream Cheese – block cream cheese at room temperature.
  • Whipping Cream – can use heavy cream or heavy whipping cream.
  • Half and Half – half milk and half cream, can also use milk.

Blend smoothie ingredients until smooth and pour into a tall glass. In a bowl, beat cheese foam ingredients together until soft peaks form. Top cheese foam over smoothie and serve.

Ingredients

Smoothie

  • 1 Cup Almond Milk (or milk of choice)
  • 2/3 Cup Frozen Strawberry
  • 1/4 Cup Sweetener (sugar alternative, sugar or preferred sweetener)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Cup Ice

Foam Cream Cheese

  • 1 1/2 oz Cream Cheese (room temperature)
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Sweetener (sugar alternative, sugar or preferred sweetener)
  • 1/4 Cup Whipping Cream
  • 2 tbsp Half and Half

Directions

1) Gather all the ingredients.

2) In a medium mixing bowl, add sweetener and cream cheese.  Beat on high until smooth and creamy.  About 2 minutes with a hand mixer.

3) Next add half and half and heavy whipping cream to the mixing bowl and beat until thick and frothy but still slightly runny.  About 2 minutes with a hand mixer.

4) In a high powered blender, add Almond Milk, frozen strawberries, sweetener, Vanilla Extract, and ice.  Blend on high until smooth and transfer to a serving cup.

5) Spoon whipped cream mixture on top of smoothie and enjoy!
