Cream Cheese Foam Strawberry Smoothie served in a glass

This recipe was inspired by my love for that cream cheese foam green tea drink you can find at many boba shops.

I absolutely die for that sweet foam!  I love it so much that I thought, why not top it with other beverages like a keto smoothie!

Honestly, I wasn’t one bit surprised when it turned out amazing the first time I made it!

Rich and creamy enough to satisfy any sweet tooth and wholesome enough to give to your kids.

It’s perfect for that hot spring or summer day!

What’s cream cheese foam?

Cream cheese foam is a combination of cream cheese, heavy cream, half and half, monkfruit and vanilla extract.  It’s blended until light and fluffy, then topped over teas or in this case, a smoothie.

How long does the cream cheese foam last in the refrigerator?

Cream cheese foam can be kept in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

What makes this smoothie keto friendly?

I use unsweetened almond milk and well as monkfruit in place of sugar to make this smoothie as low carb as possible.  One serving is approximately ~5 carbs.  If you prefer to take the carb count down further, just use fewer strawberries and cream cheese topping.

Frozen strawberries next to fresh strawberries to use in smoothie

Can I use fresh strawberries instead of frozen ones?

You can use fresh strawberries for this recipe, however, I would recommend using more ice.  Also, the flavors will be a little lighter due to the extra ice in the smoothie.

For this recipe, you’ll need Monkfruit or sweetener of choice and Almond Milk, which can be purchased on Amazon or your local supermarket.  And you’ll need a high powered blender to make the smoothie.
