When I first saw Dalgona coffee drinks popping up all over the internet, I wasn’t sure it would live up to the hype. But of course, I knew I had to give it a try and boy was I glad that I did!

One day, I was making a coconut smoothie when the idea popped up in my head to top the smoothie with the whipped Dalgona coffee.
I quickly put the smoothie in the refrigerator to keep it from melting, powered on my hand mixer and in a few minutes my Dalgona was ready!
One taste of this Dalgona topped coconut smoothie and I was in heaven! It was such a delight I regretted not having this drink in my life sooner!
Next time you’re in the mood for a gourmet drink that tastes like it was made in a coffee shop, I highly recommend making this and saving yourself a few bucks!
Dalgona coffee (whipped coffee) is very simple to make and only requires Instant Coffee, sweetener, and hot water. You will know it’s done when the coffee has a light golden color and forms stiff peaks.

Ingredients
Dalgona Whipped Coffee
- 2 tbsp Instant Coffee (we used UCC Blend)
- 2 tbsp Monkfruit Erythritol Blend
- 2 tbsp Hot Water
Coconut Smoothie
- 1 tbsp Monkfruit Erythritol Blend
- 1/2 Cup Coconut Milk
- 1 Cup Ice
Directions
1) Gather all the ingredients.
2) In a mixing bowl, combine Instant Coffee, Monkfruit Erythritol Blend and hot water. Beat with a hand mixer until coffee mix turns frothy and light brown in color, about for 4-6 minutes.
3) Using a high power blender, mix in Monkfruit Erythritol Blend, coconut milk and ice cubes. Blend until liquid forms a smoothie consistency, about 15-30 seconds.
4) Pour the coconut smoothie mix into a cup of choice topped by Dalgona whipped coffee. Mix together when ready to enjoy!
