This Garlic Sesame Green Bean Stir Fry is one of my favorite veggie dishes!
As much as low-carb/keto is about consuming high fat meals to keep your energy level up, let’s be honest, green vegetables are always a nice healthy supplement to any meal!
And if you’re going to have vegetables, might as well make them tastes delicious with this simple garlic sesame green bean stir fry recipe!
Although this recipe only uses a couple of ingredients, it’s packed with flavors and seasoned to perfection!
We tend to like our green beans tender with a crisp, but if you happen to prefer your green beans on the softer side, that’s easy to do by just increasing the cooking time!
This one is really easy and you can cook it up in 5 minutes or so.
Green beans are a great source vitamin C, folate, vitamin K and dietary fiber, which is a must to maintain a balanced diet and keep your digestive in good shape!
So the next time you are looking for a nice easy side dish to serve alongside your main entree, make it a healthy vegetable choice with this simple bean stir fry!
For this dish, the only special ingredient you would are White Pepper and Sesame Oil, which you can find on Amazon or at a local/Asian supermarket.

Ingredients
- 1 Cup Green Beans (about 20 green beans)
- 2 tbsp Sesame Oil
- 2 Cloves Garlic
- 1/8 tsp Salt
- 1/8 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/8 tsp White Pepper
Directions
1) Gather all the ingredients.
2) Finley dice garlic and set aside.
3) Cut the ends off green beans and cut into 1/2 pieces. Set aside.
4) In a large Teflon fry pan, add 1 tbsp of Sesame Oil along with diced garlic on medium heat. Cook until garlic lightly brown, about 1-2 minutes, and transfer to a holding plate.
5) In the same large Teflon fry pan, add another 1 tbsp of Sesame Oil on high heat. Once the oil reaches temp and starts to lightly smoke, add cut green beans (be careful for the oil splatter). Sprinkle in salt, black pepper, and White Pepper and cook for 2-3 minutes or until done to liking while occasionally stirring.
6) Once green beans are cooked to liking, add in garlic chips from step 4), mix around and transfer to serving plate.
