If you’re a chocolate lover, then you definitely need to try this smoothie!  The cocoa satisfies those dessert cravings and the avocado creates an unbelievably smooth and creamy texture, very similar to, wait for it…ICE CREAM!!  Yup, this Keto Chocolate Avocado Smoothie is pretty much ice cream in a cup!

Not to forget, avocados give you those healthy fats that your body needs when on a low-carb/keto diet.  I  also added in fresh spinach to give you that extra boost of vitamins and minerals.

Now know I, these ingredients sound like an very odd combination and you might wanna shy away from it, but really, just it a try!

Even with all these healthy ingredients, it still taste like a dessert!  Trust me, you can’t taste the avocado or spinach. So, feel free to have it for breakfast, lunch, dessert…or whenever you please because this smoothie is packed with all the right things to fuel your body!

This drink is low-carb/keto friendly at only ~3 net carbs per serving and a perfect way to get your greens and dessert fix at the same time!  To elevate this smoothie even more, you can also add a handful of almonds or chia seeds.

For this one, you will only need Swerve/Monkfruit as the special ingredients.  Swerve/Monkfruit can purchased on Amazon or a local specialty supermarket.

  • 1 Cup Almond Milk
  • 1 tbsp Cocoa Powder
  • 1 Cup Spinach
  • 1/2 Whole Avocado
  • 1 Cup Ice Cubes
  • 2 tbsp Monkfruit, Swerve or Sweetener of Choice

Directions

1) Gather all the ingredients.
