How to make Keto Chicken Nuggets?

  1. Combine ground chicken, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, chopped scallions, beaten eggs, pork panko, and half & half in a mixing bowl. Mix well.
  2. Take 1.5 tbsp of the chicken nugget mixture, coat it in pork panko, and shape it into nugget shapes.
  3. Place the nuggets in a single layer in the air fryer basket and air fry at 390°F for 7-9 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F and the crust turns golden brown.
  4. Serve the chicken nuggets with your preferred dipping sauce.

Pro Tip 1

To prevent the chicken mixture from sticking to your hands when forming the nuggets, consider applying a small amount of cooking oil to your hands.

Pro Tip 2

For extra crispiness, you can opt to re-fry the nuggets. Allow them to cool down, and then re-air fry for an additional 2-4 minutes to achieve an additional level of crispiness.

Alternative Oven Baking Method

Place nuggets in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake at 350°F for 11-13 minutes or until the internal temperature of the chicken nuggets reaches 165°F.

Alternative Deep Fry Method

Heat your oil to 350°F and fry the nuggets for 4-6 minutes. Ensure the internal temperature of the chicken nuggets reaches 165°F, and the coating turns a golden brown hue for a delicious crispy texture.

How to store leftovers?

To keep your leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 10-14 days. For the best taste and texture, reheat them in an air fryer or oven.

  1. Is the ground chicken raw?

  2. Sorry, a stupid question but for the per serving kcal, so one piece is 82kcal? Thank you

    • LowCarbingAsian

Hi Vivian! Yes, the NF are listed as per piece/serving. But keep in mind the program automatically calculates all the ingredients listed. And since you won’t be using all of the pork rinds, sauce, etc, the real kcal will be lower than what is shown.
