Can you believe that with just a few ingredients you can have delicious crab rolls in the comfort of your own home?
That’s right, this quick and easy low-carb/keto chaffle crab roll recipe is not only delicious but also low-carb/keto friendly!
The chaffle we created is a perfect crab roll bun alternative and a great complement to the creamy crab stuffed in the center.
For those of you that have not tried making a chaffle or have never heard of it, a chaffle means cheese + waffle.
It’s a mixture of just cheese and egg cooked in a waffle iron for a few minutes and viola, you have yourself a very versatile bread alternative.
For this recipe, I did add a few extra seasonings into the chaffle mixture to really elevate the crab roll so be sure not to skip those ingredients.
The chaffle base itself is quick and easy with only 2 ingredients and takes about 5 minutes start to finish. So not only is it delicious but it’s also very convenient!
I also used canned lump crab because, well, who has fresh crab just lying around? Not me!
But if you do happen to have fresh crab meat, by all means, use the fresh stuff to make it that much better!
Now if you’re ready, let’s chaffle!
