Is immi ramen the same as shirataki noodles?

immi ramen and shirataki noodles are made up of entirely different ingredients and have very different taste and texture.

immi ramen noodles are much more consistent with what you would find instant noodles, but much healthier!

The noodles from immi ramen are made from pumpkin seed protein, which is an excellent plant protein that’s high in fiber and micronutrients such as Vitamin K, Manganese and Magnesium.  Also, it’s loaded with antioxidants and is a sustainable source of plant protein!

  • Prep Time 3M
  • Cook Time 7M
  • Total Time 10M
  • Net Carb/Serving ~7g

Ingredients

Directions

1) Gather all the ingredients.

2) Prepare optional Keto Chashu and Keto Japanese Ramen Eggs.

3) Chop green onions and slice garlic as shown below.

4) In a microwave safe bowl, combine neutral cooking oil and sliced garlic.  Microwave for 60-90 seconds until garlic is browned.  Remove garlic from oil and set aside.

5) In a stove top pot, add enough water to submerge noodles from Immi Ramen Package.  Bring to a boil, add in noodles and cook for 5 minutes.

6) In a separate stove top pot, add 1 cup of water, Immi Ramen Seasoning, Sesame Oil, Chili Oil, mix and bring to a soft boil.  Once soft boiling, reduce heat to simmer/keep warm and cover.

7) After 5 minutes have passed from step 5), transfer noodles to the stove top pot with ramen broth and let it simmer in the broth for 2 minutes covered.  Note – for maximum flavor, you can let noodles simmer for up to 4-5 minutes.

8) Transfer noodles and soup broth into a serving bowl, top with green onions, garlic chips, sprinkle of Toasted Sesame Seeds, and optional Chashu and Japanese Ramen Eggs.  Enjoy hot!

  • 1 Stalk Green Onions
  • 1/8 tsp Sesame Oil
  • 1/8 tsp Chili Oil
  • 1/8 tsp Toasted Sesame Seeds
  • 2 oz Keto Chashu optional
  • 1 Keto Japanese Ramen Eggs can replace with soft boil eggs
