Orange Whiskey Soda LowCarbingAsian Cover 2

Orange Whiskey Soda

The other day when was pouring my weekend whiskey, I realized we were out of carbonated water and the only thing laying around was some orange flavored sparkling water.

I figured I might as well give it a try so poured some in as my mixer and hoped for the best and that’s how this version of orange whiskey soda was made!

I was pleasantly surprised at how well the orange complemented the taste of whiskey and recalled once enjoying another orange based whiskey cocktail called ‘old fashioned’!

So after looking more into the recipe for ‘old fashioned’, I decided to make a simple low-carb/keto version inspired by this classic!

It’s super easy to make, delish, and of course a great choice of drink for you all low-carb/keto people out there!

The simple syrup really helps round out the edges of the whiskey while the citrus notes help highlight the characteristics of your classic Bourbon or Tenseness style whiskey!  Hope you enjoy it!

The ingredients you would need for this recipe would be just Swerve/Monkfruit and carbonated water.  We make our carbonated water with a SodaStream, but you can just use a store-bought one if you prefer.  We also recommend the proper whiskey glassware, which you can pick up at Amazon.

So if you’re ready, let’s get started on making some orange whiskey soda!
