What ingredients do I need to make pumpkin Frappuccino?

Ingredients

  • Heavy Cream – can also use whipping cream. Can sub with coconut cream for dairy-free option.
  • Instant Coffee – strong dark roast instant coffee works best. We recommend Starbucks Premium Instant Coffee.
  • Sweetener – use your preferred sweetener.
  • Pumpkin Pie Spice – blend of spices including cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, ginger, and all spice.

Why use instant coffee to make the Frappuccino rather than brewed coffee?

Instant coffee is the key to achieving a robust coffee flavor in this Frappuccino recipe without diluting its creamy consistency. Brewed coffee tends to be less concentrated and can result in a watery texture when used in a Frappuccino.

Using instant coffee allows you to infuse the drink with a strong coffee essence, making it a satisfying and delicious beverage. Plus, it’s a practical choice for those who don’t have access to an espresso machine at home.

For the best experience, it’s recommended to enjoy right away. However, if you happen to have leftovers, you can store them in the fridge by covering the container with plastic wrap. Make sure to consume the leftovers within 24 hours.

Hi Kathy! By all means, if you would like to add 1-2 tbsp pumpkin puree, go for it! In our testing, we just thought it was good as is without having to add an extra ingredient.
