What is Starbucks Copycat Mocha Frappuccino ?
This tasty beverage combines bold coffee flavor with cocoa powder and heavy cream. It is then blended with ice until smooth and creamy.
What are the ingredients and instructions to make a copycat Starbucks Mocha Frappuccino at home?
This basic recipe uses very simple ingredients to achieve its bold flavor. The ingredients include:
- Instant coffee or granules
- Heavy Cream
- Unsweetened cocoa powder
- Sweetener
- Ice
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Then pour coffee mixture into a tall glass and top with optional whipped cream.
Why do you use instant coffee instead of brewed coffee?
Instant coffee gives the frappucino a strong and bold coffee flavor without watering down the drink. If you prefer using fresh coffee, an espresso machine type of coffee would work best. Avoid using a coffee maker because you won’t get a bold enough coffee flavor.

What if you dont have heavy cream
Hi – Unfortunately, I don’t think there is a suitable replacement for heavy cream, so you will have to pick some up to make this recipe.
How do you figure 7 carbs with 3 TBSP monk fruit sweetener?
Hi Elizabeth – the carbs are from the heavy cream and cocoa powder, not the monkfruit. Hope that clears that up.
Can I use the Lakanto drinking chocolate for the cocoa powder?
Hello! I’ve never used that particular product, so can’t be for sure, but I would think you can sub it. Just make sure to lessen/eliminate the amount of monkfruit blend the recipe calls for since that product already has sweetener mixed in.
