Some of you may know by now that I LOVE matcha. I just can’t get enough! We have recipes for matcha smoothie, matcha chia pudding, matcha panna cotta and matcha cheesecake tarts, just to name a few. And I’m always looking for inspiration to create new matcha recipes like this Strawberry Matcha Latte!
This particular recipe inspiration came from a famous boba shop in San Francisco. The drink is made with a beautiful presentation with all the swirls, vivid colors, and not to forget the great taste! But the best part might just be the strawberry sauce!
You can use this strawberry sauce as your low-carb/keto jam and spread it on your bread, cake, dessert, etc. If you follow the recipe, it will yield around 1/2 cup of the strawberry sauce, but since you’re only using 1 tbsp for the drink itself, you’ll have plenty left over!
It’s super simple to put together too! All you need to do is chop up some strawberries and boil that down along with a sweetener and water. Once that’s done, you simply throw it in the food processor and you have yourself some low-carb/keto strawberry sauce!
And to complete the drink, all you need to do is brew up some matcha latte, which just consists of hot water, matcha powder and some cream. Put all those things together and you have yourself a low-carb/keto strawberry matcha latte!
This recipe brings a matcha latte to pair with our tangy strawberry sauce creating a sweet-creamy drink that is so delicious and refreshing
For this one, you will only need Swerve/Monkfruit and Matcha Powder as the special ingredients, which can be purchased on Amazon or a local specialty supermarket.
Now, let’s get started!
