What are Garlic Butter Steak Bites?
Garlic butter steak bites are cubed New York or Sirloin Steak, pan-fried and tossed in a garlic butter soy sauce then topped on a bed of buttery cauliflower rice.
What kind of steak should I use to make steak bites?
I recommend using leaner cuts of steak such as sirloin or New York steak.
What is cauliflower rice and why do you use it instead of traditional white rice?
Cauliflower rice is grated cauliflower that has been pulsed in a food processor until it looks similar to rice granules.
At only 3g of carbs, cauliflower rice is a great low carb alternative to traditional white rice, also much healthier at that.
Tips and tricks for making garlic butter steak bites?
- Use leftover steak and just heat and toss in garlic butter sauce
- Watch the steaks making sure they don’t overcook.
- Be generous with the seasoning, especially if you prefer more flavor.
- You can skip pan frying and microwave cauliflower rice for 2 minutes with a wet paper towel on top. Just throw the butter on top once it comes out of the microwave steaming hot!
- Serve with rice of choice or some cauliflower rice for a nice healthy low carb option.
