Essential Kitchen Equipment

  • Wok or Deep Large Skillet

☑ Before Getting Started

For optimal results, utilize a Large Wok or Deep Skillet before starting this recipe. This ensures ample space for the chicken to cook and evenly distribute heat while pan frying.

Step 1 Start by blending salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper in a mixing bowl. Introduce bite-sized chicken pieces to this mix, ensuring they are uniformly coated.

Step 2 Next, in a frying pan, heat oil and garlic on medium until the garlic adopts a golden hue. Using a spatula, separate the golden garlic chips, retaining the infused oil in the pan.

🧄 Garlic Chip Pro Tip

For a quick and efficient method to make garlic chips, Microwave sliced garlic with oil for about 30 Seconds. Be sure to cover the bowl to prevent any splattering.

Step 3 Pour a tad more oil into this pan, bring oil up to temperature, then add the seasoned chicken cubes, frying them for about 4-5 minutes until they turn a rich golden brown and transfer the cooked chicken to a serving bowl. Top with fired garlic chips.

🍳 Cooking Pro Tip

Avoid Overcrowding the pan as it can lead to steaming instead of pan frying, resulting in soggy rather than crispy chicken. Rather Cook in Batches if needed.

🌿 Garnishing Pro Tip

Garnish your dish with freshly chopped Green Onion. They add texture and vibrant colors to the dish.

🍽️ Serving Pro Tip

This dish is best enjoyed Hot and Freshly Made.
