Why I Love This Recipe

If you’re a fan of exotic flavors and a refreshing pick-me-up, my Thai Tea Smoothie is a must-try! This recipe combines the richness of Thai Iced Tea with the creaminess of heavy cream and the sweetness of your preferred sweetener. It’s a cool, refreshing treat that captures the essence of Thai cuisine in a delightful drink.

Just like my Strawberry Milk Tea and Cream Cheese Foam Green Tea drinks, this recipe uses a tea base, specifically my Thai Iced Tea made from real tea bags, not powdered pre-mixes, ensuring an authentic and refreshing taste! Plus, it’s incredibly easy to make—just steep some tea and blend everything together in a breeze. So get ready to enjoy a thirst-quenching delight that’s perfect for beating the heat!

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Thai tea mix made of?

Thai tea itself, when prepared from loose leaf or tea bag form, is made from strong brewed black tea infused with ingredients such as cardamom, star anise, vanilla, and tamarind.

Can I make a batch of Thai tea in advance and store it for later use?

Yes, you can prepare Thai tea itself in advance and refrigerate it for convenience. However, the smoothie should be consumed right after it is made.

Storage Tips

To store any leftover smoothie, place it in the fridge. While refrigeration will slow down the melting process, it’s important to note that it won’t completely prevent the smoothie from melting.
