Tomato Feta Cheese Rolls with fresh parsley sprinkled on top served on a wooden plank

Anytime I get a craving for bread, you will find me in the kitchen making these bread rolls.  Sometimes it’s our garlic butter rolls, other times its our green onion cheese rolls.

But this time, I had feta left over so I decided to add it to my bread roll recipe with a sprinkle of tomato bullion powder and boy did they turn out delicious!

These cheese rolls are bursting with savory flavors of tomato and feta, you won’t be able to stop at just one.

In my opinion, they’re better and have way more flavor than traditional rolls!

I have to point out though that because these keto cheese rolls are wheat and gluten-free, and made entirely out of cheese and almond flour, they will not have the same texture as traditional bread rolls.  The rolls are more dense but full of amazing flavors!

When warm, they are soft yet have a more dense texture compared to that of wheat bread.   It’s somewhat similar to the denseness of sough dough bread.

Tomato bullion is chicken stock powder combined with tomato flavoring and other seasonings.  If you’re looking for an all natural substitution, you can use tomato powder instead, but it will alter the flavor of the rolls.

How should I store these cheese bread rolls?

These rolls hold up pretty well in the refrigerator and can be warmed up in the microwave before serving.

The special ingredients needed for this recipe are Almond Flour and Tomato Bullion.  All these can be picked up on Amazon or a local Supermarket.
