Ingredients

  • 3 Slices Bacon Roughly 10 inches in Length
  • 4-5 Stalks Asparagus
  • 12 Pieces Toothpicks
  • 1/8 Whole Jalapeno
  • 2 Cloves Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Cooking Oil
  • 12 Drops Sriracha

Instructions

  • Gather all the ingredients.
  • Cut bacon vertically into 4 equal parts. You should end up with roughly twelve 2-2.5 inch bacon pieces.
  • Cut asparagus into 2 inch lengths. You will need 24 pieces which will roughly be 4 stalks of asparagus.
  • Place 2 pieces of asparagus onto the bacon piece and roll up asparagus with bacon. Once rolled, place a toothpick through the asparagus to maintain shape throughout cooking (try to keep the conjoining point on the bottom to help maintain shape).
  • Place aluminum foil over toaster oven tray and place bacon on the tray. Set toaster oven for 460F and cook for 15 minutes.
  • While waiting, thinly slice 12 pieces of jalapeno. Remove seeds from slices and set jalapeno aside.
  • Thinly slice garlic cloves. In a small fry pan, add oil and garlic on medium heat. Cook until browned on both sides (about 2-3 minuteand transfer to holding bowl.
  • Once toaster oven is done, pull bacon out, plate, and remove toothpicks (the toothpicks should cool to touch in about 30 seconds).
  • Add jalapeno slices, followed by a slice of fried garlic and drop of Sriracha sauce on top of each bacon.
