- 3 Cups Water
- 5 tbsp Whole Coffee Beans or pre-ground if you prefer
- 1 tbsp Whip Cream per coffee serving
- 1/4 tbsp Grass Fed Butter per coffee serving
Gather all the ingredients.
Add the water into the bottom portion of the siphon and bring to boil on high.
Meanwhile, take the siphon filter and place inside the top portion. Grab the filter chain from the bottom and pull until the latch is secured on the external portion of the glass tube and set in the stand.
Place coffee beans into the coffee grinder and grind to medium (about 5-7 seconds on our grinder). Transfer coffee grinds inside siphon top and set in the stand.
Once water is boiling, firmly press the top portion into the bottom siphon. If done correctly, the pressure from the heat will cause the water to rise into the top portion. Let it boil for 45 seconds and then turn off the heat.
After about 2 minutes, the coffee will fall back down into the bottom portion of the siphon. Carefully remove the top portion (it will be hot!) and place into holding stand.
Pour coffee into a cup.
Place butter and whip cream in coffee while it's hot.
