Orange Whiskey Soda
The BEST Low-Carb/Keto Alcoholic drink idea. Orange Whiskey Soda and making it 0 carbs.
- 1 tbsp Swerve/Monkfruit
- 2 tbsp Water
- 1.5 oz Whiskey
- 1 oz Carbonated Water
- 1 Orange Peel
Gather all the ingredients.
In a small stove top pot, add Swerve/Monkfruit and water, bring to boil on medium heat, should take around 1-2 minutes. Once boiling, reduce heat to low and simmer for 30 seconds. Remove from heat after and set aside. This is your simple syrup.
Prepare orange peel and place into the cocktail cup.
Combine simple syrup and carbonated water. Then add your whiskey of choice. Note - make sure you occasional stir as the sweet syrup tends to sink to the bottom of the glass.
