Strawberry Matcha Latte
Heavy Whipping Cream
(optional for creamier texture)
Gather all the ingredients.
De-stem strawberries and chop loosely.
In a small saucepan, add strawberries, Swerve/Monkfruit, and 2 tbsp of water.
Cook on medium heat until boiling, then turn down to low, stirring often until a nice syrupy sauce forms. Roughly 10 minutes.
Once done, pulse in a food processor or blender until smooth. Set aside to cool.
Add Matcha Powder to 1/2 cup of hot water and whisk until matcha has dissolved.
In a separate tall serving glass, add ingredients in this order, 3 tbsp of strawberry sauce, 1/2 cup almond milk, 1/2 cup of ice, and finally the dissolved Matcha Powder from step 6). Enjoy chilled.
