Ingredients

  • 1 Bulb Garlic
  • 1 tsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Salted Butter
  • 1/8 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 Sheet Aluminum Foil 1'x1'

Instructions

  • Gather all the ingredients.
  • Preheat oven to 400. Note - you can skip this step if using a toaster oven.
  • Melt butter in a small bowl in the microwave (about 30-45 seconds).
  • Once butter is melted, combine Soy Sauce and black pepper. Mix well and set aside.
  • Next, cut the top of the garlic off about 1 inch from the tip, exposing the cloves as pictured below and place the garlic bulb in the middle of the aluminum foil. Wrap the aluminum foil around the garlic bulb tightly while leaving a little hole at the top as shown below. Give the sauce a mix and pour it into the hole until the sauce starts back-filling and pinch the hole back up. Let the garlic sit for about ~10 minute to mend the flavors all together.  Note - If you prefer, if can let it sit for up to 30 minutes for a stronger flavors.
  • Place garlic clove in the middle of the oven and roast for 25-30 minutes. Once roasted, enjoy as is or transfer to serving plate!
