Beat the heat this summer with some matcha shaved ice using this keto low carb homemade syrup! It’s sweet, refreshing and so simple to make! Perfect to make in batches and store in the fridge for those hot summer days!

Ingredients

Shaved Ice

  • 1 Cup Shaved Ice

Matcha

  • 1 tbsp Hot Water
  • 1 tsp Matcha Powder

Syrup

  • 2 tbsp Hot Water
  • 3 tbsp Sweetener monkfruit erythritol blend, sugar or sweetener of choice

Instructions

  • Gather all the ingredients.
  • In a heat-safe mixing bowl, combine Matcha Powder with 1 tbsp hot water. Whisk well until the powder dissolves and set aside.
  • In another heat-safe mixing bowl, combine sweetener with 2 tbsp hot water. Mix until the sweetener is mostly dissolved (will not completely dissolve yet).
  • Add the mixed Matcha from step 2) into syrup from step 3). Now mix until everything is completely dissolved.
  • Pour syrup onto a bowl of shaved ice. Enjoy!
